Dr. Geoffrey G. Cooper has been in practice in Richmond, Virginia since 1987.  He practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology and specializes in Cataract and Refractive Surgery.  He implants the latest specialty intraocular lenses including multifocal, accomodating, and toric lenses.  He has been involved in refractive surgery since 1996 (when the excimer laser was approved by the FDA) and has been doing LASIK for more than 10 years.  He has performed several thousand LASIK procedures in his office laser suite.

As an active member of the Richmond Medical Community, Dr. Cooper participates in an executive role as the Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Mary's Hospital, as a Member of the Board of Managers of the Stony Point Surgery Center, and as a Director of the Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.  

In his spare time, Dr. Cooper enjoys bicycling and spending time at his vineyard and winery.
