 | Dr. Easter received her optometric training from SUNY State College of Optometry with a residency in primary care and ocular disease in New York. While as a senior associate engineer hardware design engineer at IBM, she earned a master’s in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University prior to becoming an optometrist. She has published several case reports and presented at continuing education for paraoptometric staffs.
Since residency, she has practiced in a variety of settings: from a multidisciplinary ophthalmology practice revolving around ocular disease diagnosis & management, to providing eye care for nursing home bound patients, to commercial practice with emphasis on contact lenses. She is currently at Bethesda Naval Medical Center doing pre/post refractive surgery management and research through See Clearly.
