Christine Burris Wisecarver, O.D., F.A.A.O. is an Optometrist at See Clearly Vision in McLean Virginia and Arlington Virginia. Dr. Wisecarver earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of California-Berkeley School of Optometry followed by a residency in Ocular Disease at the Baltimore Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital. Dr. Wisecarver has extensive experience in surgical co-management and is certified to use pharmaceutical agents to manage ocular diseases. She brings specific expertise and experience in the areas of complex contact lens fitting for corneal diseases such as Keratoconus, corneal trauma, and post-surgical fittings.
Dr. Wisecarver has participated in numerous research projects, authored peer-reviewed articles and presented her research at many professional conferences. She is an integral part of our clinical study team and serves as an adjunct clinical instructor to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and The Inter American University in Puerto Rico. Additionally, Dr. Wisecarver serves as a Rotation Site Director for the Ophthalmic Medical Technologist Program at Georgetown University Center for Sight whereby she trains student technicians on all aspects of patient care including professionalism, ethics, and clinical skills.
Dr. Wisecarver is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
